Summary: The first chapter of “The cultural and political struggle between Islam and the West”, Part I, discusses the causes and effects of the conflict, pointing out the current crisis of human development and civilization. At the same time, the book clarifies the basic principles and values of Islamic civilization and explains the strategy for the Islamic formation of the world system. The second section consists of five chapters including articles on the kingpin of modern Western civilization, the US government’s global agenda, and its strategy towards the Muslim world. The third part is based on some of the important issues raised during the cultural conflict. These include governance, democracy and legislation, freedom of expression, especially in the context of blasphemy, population, family planning and economic development, as well as the growing trend of marriage of choice and suicide. The last two articles bring into light Iqbal’s thoughts on the revival of Islamic civilization, which provide equal guidance for Muslims around the world, and the problems of those living in the West and other non-Muslim societies as well as their plan of action to address it. The cultural conflict between Islam and the West is a very broad topic. There are many aspects to this topic including philosophical concepts, scholarly discussions, or historical perspectives.
