The first chapter of ÃÂThe cultural and political struggle between Islam and the WestÃÂ, Part I, discusses the causes and effects of the conflict, pointing out the current crisis of human development and civilization. These include governance, democracy and legislation, freedom of expression, especially in the context of blasphemy, population, family planning and economic development, as well as the growing trend of marriage of choice and suicide. The last two articles bring into light IqbalÃÂs thoughts on the revival of Islamic civilization, which provide equal guidance for Muslims around the world, and the problems of those living in the West and other non-Muslim societies as well as their plan of action to address it. The cultural conflict between Islam and the West is a very broad topic. There are many aspects to this topic including philosophical concepts, scholarly discussions, or historical perspectives.
