Summary: Peer-e-Kamil is definitely the perfect novel on my shelf. After hearing its praises from my friends and family I decided to give it a try and surprisingly although it was my first Urdu novel I completed it within 3 days! I don’t really have words to write about this novel just that it is a must-read for every book lover. Umera Ahmed has beautifully described the story of Salar from an irreligious person to an undeniably loved character. It shows that Allah’s bounties and forgiveness have no limits and He has the power to do miracles and that anyone can turn anytime to Him despite their sins and He forgives them. The hardships of Ummama and how she leaves everything behind her for Islam is an inspiration for all Muslims around the globe and how Allah rewarded her beyond her wishes. This story is a perfect mentor, an eye-opener and it makes one search about what life is and success meets those who are on the right path.
